ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!

Okay So the past months have been a whirlwind of emotions!! Up and down!! Travis and I signed the official divorce papers on May 3rd! Then I dated a few guys who were nice but just not for me! Then I attended a Young Single Adult Conference where I met the most amazing man!!! Brennon and I met on June 20th and I had to be the one to approach him! Just for the record he was too chicken!! :) Anyways from the moment I met Brennon I knew he was someone special. There was just something about him that made me feel like things were going to be okay! Well, we went out a few times and I just grew to love him the more I was around him! He was truly AMAZING in every way!!! And just after a week and a half of knowing him I told him (and he told me) that I loved him! Everything just feels right when we are together! And the kids LOVE him to death! He is a natural father!! Anyways He proposed to me on July 24th. He had a surprise picnic all set up in a park! It was perfect in every way! Everything he said was absolutely perfect! And now we are just counting down the days until we can be married and start our life together!! Here's to a bright and glorious future!! :)

A week of TEETH!!!

So within the past week or so, we have had lots of excitement with teeth! Last week Chase lost his two top teeth within two days of eachother!! Then Caden just had his first bottom tooth pop through on thursday!! It is so exciting! Just as one person loses teeth another gets them!! So goes the cycle of life! :) Its cute because Chase talks funny without his teeth! And Caden is chewing on everything he can get his hands on! He is so cute because he will grab whatever you are holding in your hands or whatever he is within reach of! So things are going well for us!

Momm'y Little Angel!

Caden has been such a strength to me through this difficult time. He is always smiling and laughing at me so of course I can't help but smile and laugh back. I know that I was meant to have him at this time to be a blessing to me and to be my angel. I love him so much and I'm so eternally thankful for the opportunity to be the mother of the three most fabulous children! They are my everything! I would do anything for them and I am striving every day to be a better mom who they can look up to and love eternally! May the Lord continue to bless us!

Slumber Party Fun!!

The other night Chase was upset about having to sleep in his room alone. I told him that he wasn't alone because he has Caden in his room with him. "I don't want a little kid, I want a big person to sleep with me!" I figured that since Brooke and I sleep together he was getting jealous and lonely being by himself. So the solution was to have a slumber party in the family room. That idea went over well, so they got to sleep together in the family room for one night! Problem Solved!! And now that he is back in school he knows he has to sleep in his bed. No more sleepy time issues! At least for now...

One Great Day!!

Well today we had a good day! It's been snowing a lot but we decided to venture out! We went to On the Border for a late lunch/early dinner. Then we went to Kohls to get me some pants for work. Well while we were there we found these cute Dr. Suess stuffed characters. So Brooke and Chase each got one, courtesy of grandma!! They love them and are carrying them around everywhere! Anyways we had a good day, and keep praying that we will have many more good days!!

SEPARATED AGAIN!!

AS MOST OF YOU MAY ALREADY KNOW TRAVIS AND I ARE OVER. I AM BACK IN COLORADO WITH THE KIDS AND BACK TO WORK I GO. TRAVIS IS STILL IN OKLAHOMA BUT HE MAY MOVE TO GREEN RIVER, WY IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I'M NOT SURE WHAT HE IS THINKING. THE KIDS ARE HAVING A HARDER TIME THIS TIME AROUND BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY SAT DOWN WITH THEM TO TELL THEM WHAT WAS GOING ON. WE EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT MOMMY AND DADDY WILL NOT BE MARRIED ANYMORE. THEY JUST KEPT ASKING WHY. THIS HAS BEEN SO HARD FOR ME TO SEE THEM GO THROUGH THIS. I HOPE THEY WILL GET BETTER WITH TIME AND THEY WILL START TO UNDERSTAND WHY WE HAD TO GET THE DIVORCE. WELL ANYWAYS WE WILL JUST REMAIN FAITHFUL AND DO WHAT WE CAN. JUST TAKE IT A DAY AT A TIME! HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL. TAKE CARE...

Gingerbread houses!!

At grandma and grandpa Yamnik's house we made gingerbread houses!! We all had lots of fun!! The kids worked so hard on them but they kept falling down. I managed to save Brooke's but not Chases!!
