ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!

Okay So the past months have been a whirlwind of emotions!! Up and down!! Travis and I signed the official divorce papers on May 3rd! Then I dated a few guys who were nice but just not for me! Then I attended a Young Single Adult Conference where I met the most amazing man!!! Brennon and I met on June 20th and I had to be the one to approach him! Just for the record he was too chicken!! :) Anyways from the moment I met Brennon I knew he was someone special. There was just something about him that made me feel like things were going to be okay! Well, we went out a few times and I just grew to love him the more I was around him! He was truly AMAZING in every way!!! And just after a week and a half of knowing him I told him (and he told me) that I loved him! Everything just feels right when we are together! And the kids LOVE him to death! He is a natural father!! Anyways He proposed to me on July 24th. He had a surprise picnic all set up in a park! It was perfect in every way! Everything he said was absolutely perfect! And now we are just counting down the days until we can be married and start our life together!! Here's to a bright and glorious future!! :)

A week of TEETH!!!

So within the past week or so, we have had lots of excitement with teeth! Last week Chase lost his two top teeth within two days of eachother!! Then Caden just had his first bottom tooth pop through on thursday!! It is so exciting! Just as one person loses teeth another gets them!! So goes the cycle of life! :) Its cute because Chase talks funny without his teeth! And Caden is chewing on everything he can get his hands on! He is so cute because he will grab whatever you are holding in your hands or whatever he is within reach of! So things are going well for us!

Momm'y Little Angel!

Caden has been such a strength to me through this difficult time. He is always smiling and laughing at me so of course I can't help but smile and laugh back. I know that I was meant to have him at this time to be a blessing to me and to be my angel. I love him so much and I'm so eternally thankful for the opportunity to be the mother of the three most fabulous children! They are my everything! I would do anything for them and I am striving every day to be a better mom who they can look up to and love eternally! May the Lord continue to bless us!

Slumber Party Fun!!

The other night Chase was upset about having to sleep in his room alone. I told him that he wasn't alone because he has Caden in his room with him. "I don't want a little kid, I want a big person to sleep with me!" I figured that since Brooke and I sleep together he was getting jealous and lonely being by himself. So the solution was to have a slumber party in the family room. That idea went over well, so they got to sleep together in the family room for one night! Problem Solved!! And now that he is back in school he knows he has to sleep in his bed. No more sleepy time issues! At least for now...

One Great Day!!

Well today we had a good day! It's been snowing a lot but we decided to venture out! We went to On the Border for a late lunch/early dinner. Then we went to Kohls to get me some pants for work. Well while we were there we found these cute Dr. Suess stuffed characters. So Brooke and Chase each got one, courtesy of grandma!! They love them and are carrying them around everywhere! Anyways we had a good day, and keep praying that we will have many more good days!!

SEPARATED AGAIN!!

AS MOST OF YOU MAY ALREADY KNOW TRAVIS AND I ARE OVER. I AM BACK IN COLORADO WITH THE KIDS AND BACK TO WORK I GO. TRAVIS IS STILL IN OKLAHOMA BUT HE MAY MOVE TO GREEN RIVER, WY IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I'M NOT SURE WHAT HE IS THINKING. THE KIDS ARE HAVING A HARDER TIME THIS TIME AROUND BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY SAT DOWN WITH THEM TO TELL THEM WHAT WAS GOING ON. WE EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT MOMMY AND DADDY WILL NOT BE MARRIED ANYMORE. THEY JUST KEPT ASKING WHY. THIS HAS BEEN SO HARD FOR ME TO SEE THEM GO THROUGH THIS. I HOPE THEY WILL GET BETTER WITH TIME AND THEY WILL START TO UNDERSTAND WHY WE HAD TO GET THE DIVORCE. WELL ANYWAYS WE WILL JUST REMAIN FAITHFUL AND DO WHAT WE CAN. JUST TAKE IT A DAY AT A TIME! HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL. TAKE CARE...

At grandma and grandpa Yamnik's house we made gingerbread houses!! We all had lots of fun!! The kids worked so hard on them but they kept falling down. I managed to save Brooke's but not Chases!!

Caden's Blessing

We blessed Caden on Sunday and it was great. We were able to have family and friends there which always makes it more enjoyable. We want to thank everyone who came and supported us. It meant a lot and we love you. Here are some pictures of him in his blessing outfit! We were even able to get some pictures of him smiling! He is so cute!!

Halloween Fun!!!

The kids had so much fun on Halloween. They loved Trick-or-treating. Chase was a race car driver, Brooke was Snow White and Caden was a Giraffe. It is fun that they are old enough now that they can really understand and enjoy the holidays!! Mom stayed at home passing out candy with Caden while daddy took Brooke and Chase out. We hope that everyone had a safe and happy Halloween.

Our new arrival!!!

Here is our brand new addition to our family! His name is Caden Travis Esquibel. He was born on Sept. 23, 2009 at 5:15 pm. He was 8 lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long. Everything went just perfect!! We are so happy and he has been such a joy. Chase and Brooke love having a baby brother, and are so helpful! Things have been very busy and we are leaving tomorrow to go back to Oklahoma! Well, We pray that everyone is doing well and we'll keep in touch!

Its a Boy!!!

Most of you already know that I am having a boy. I am very excited. I have been thinking about names and it is very difficult for me, but I think that I am liking the name Austin Tyler!! Its kind of funny because my brother Tyler lives in Austin, TX, so it sounds like I am naming him after him, but it is just a coincidence. I feel like I get bigger every day!! I don't know if I will be able to make it to September!!! I guess I have no choice! Well, I thought I would finally post some pictures so you guys can all see how big I am getting! Chase Lost His First Tooth!!!!!

I can't believe how excited I am about my little boy losing his first tooth! It has been loose for about a week and I kept telling him that as soon as he lost it he would be able to put it under his pillow and the tooth fairy would bring him money!! He thought that sounded pretty awesome so he wanted his tooth to come out. He kept asking me to take it out, but I told him he was just going to have to wait until it got looser and then it would come out on its own. Then yesterday he came yelling for me saying that his tooth came out! He was so excited about it and then he told me that the tooth fairy was going to bring him money!! He seems pretty proud that he lost his tooth and it makes me think about how fast he is growing up! I can't believe how the time flies!! I guess we need to enjoy every minute we have, because before we know it our kids are will be grown with families of their own!! Here's to today, lets make the most of it!!!
