We blessed Caden on Sunday and it was great. We were able to have family and friends there which always makes it more enjoyable. We want to thank everyone who came and supported us. It meant a lot and we love you. Here are some pictures of him in his blessing outfit! We were even able to get some pictures of him smiling! He is so cute!!
The kids had so much fun on Halloween. They loved Trick-or-treating. Chase was a race car driver, Brooke was Snow White and Caden was a Giraffe. It is fun that they are old enough now that they can really understand and enjoy the holidays!! Mom stayed at home passing out candy with Caden while daddy took Brooke and Chase out. We hope that everyone had a safe and happy Halloween.
Here is our brand new addition to our family! His name is Caden Travis Esquibel. He was born on Sept. 23, 2009 at 5:15 pm. He was 8 lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long. Everything went just perfect!! We are so happy and he has been such a joy. Chase and Brooke love having a baby brother, and are so helpful! Things have been very busy and we are leaving tomorrow to go back to Oklahoma! Well, We pray that everyone is doing well and we'll keep in touch!
Most of you already know that I am having a boy. I am very excited. I have been thinking about names and it is very difficult for me, but I think that I am liking the name Austin Tyler!! Its kind of funny because my brother Tyler lives in Austin, TX, so it sounds like I am naming him after him, but it is just a coincidence. I feel like I get bigger every day!! I don't know if I will be able to make it to September!!! I guess I have no choice! Well, I thought I would finally post some pictures so you guys can all see how big I am getting! I wish you all the best! Take Care!
I can't believe how excited I am about my little boy losing his first tooth! It has been loose for about a week and I kept telling him that as soon as he lost it he would be able to put it under his pillow and the tooth fairy would bring him money!! He thought that sounded pretty awesome so he wanted his tooth to come out. He kept asking me to take it out, but I told him he was just going to have to wait until it got looser and then it would come out on its own. Then yesterday he came yelling for me saying that his tooth came out! He was so excited about it and then he told me that the tooth fairy was going to bring him money!! He seems pretty proud that he lost his tooth and it makes me think about how fast he is growing up! I can't believe how the time flies!! I guess we need to enjoy every minute we have, because before we know it our kids are will be grown with families of their own!! Here's to today, lets make the most of it!!!
Well, I finally found a doctor here in Colorado, and I had my first visit with him yesterday! I was lucky because they happened to have a cancellation, otherwise I would have had to wait for another two weeks to get in! Anyways I listened to the heartbeat and everything is going good. I have my ultrasound in two weeks, on Friday May 15. And then I will get to find out what the baby will be. But that is only if the baby cooperates! Then, if we are lucky enough to find out what the baby is, I will need to come up with names! I am getting more and more excited about finding out what the baby will be now that I have an actually date set up for the ultrasound!
Well, It has been a long time since I have posted anything! Most of you know that isn't unusual for me. I just get distracted with life and never think about it. I should be better, but I can't make any promises! Well, Most of you may already be aware, but Travis and I are seperated. We will be filing for a divorce within the next couple of months. Me and the kids are now living in Colorado with my parents. Things are crazy, but we are getting by. I am in the process of finding a job, so hopefully that will all work out. The kids are doing very well. Better than expected. They love being so close to grandma and grandpa. And don't forget about uncle Blake! They just love having uncle Blake to play with. Anyways, we are doing good and I hope to have my life organized soon enough.
As most of you may know by now, I am pregnant. My estimated due date is Sept. 21st. I should be going to the doctors within the next week and they will give me a better estimate on the due date. Well, I just thought that I should post something, so we wish everyone the best! Lots of love!!!
There was no school today and I didn't have to do to work either, because the day care closed for the day, too!The kids were so excited to wake up and see snow outside. Chase wanted to go out and throw snow balls at each other. The snow was not wet enough to make snow balls because it was just ice pieces. But we still had fun trying. And I was excited because I got a day off from work!!
Well, this weekend we got a puppy! There was a mom at the day care who was trying to find a new home for her, so I volunteered. Our lives are crazy busy, but she just looked so cute and tiny that it was hard to say no. So now we are trying to potty train her. Boy is that fun!!!! Its a good thing we already have gross carpet! But she is so much fun and the kids adore her. Chase is helping out a lot by taking her outside when its time for her to go potty. It is nice that he is old enough to help out with her. Anyways, that is our newest member of the family. I hope I don't end up regretting this!!! We wish you all the best! Love, The Esquibels
I just wanted to write a little thank you to everytone who has been a part of our lives. I want to let you all know that we appreciate all that you have done for our family. It is so nice to have family and friends that you can always depend on and who will be there to support you no matter what. So with that in mind, thank you to all of you for your friendship and love through everything!
The Most Important Thing in Life:
For those of you who know me pretty well, know that my family is the one thing I cherish more than anything else in the world. I believe that the family unit is the most important thing we can have in this life. Children should be able to turn to their parents without feeling judged or ridiculed. Trust and love in eachother is what will get you through the tough times! I just wanted everyone to know that when you are having a bad day just remember that your Father in Heaven has blessed you with a family. Love and cherish them like you should the gospel. I'm sorry about my little speech. I didn't mean for it to sound like I am preaching, but I just wanted to share my thoughts and let everyone know that we are a blessed people! Have a great Day and thanks for visiting our blog!
